Work Order Administrator HR2-00047

Job Purpose

The Work Order Administrator provides administrative support for Project Managers and Schedulers as it pertains to executing the planned schedule. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills; along with ability to multi-task in an environment with competing priorities.


Key Duties & Responsibilities



  • Supports throughput goals through exceptional communication, attention to detail, and demonstrating a collaborative, positive environment with colleagues.

  • Completes administrative tasks for serialization of parts, shipping and outside vendor purchase orders.

  • Review release list daily and prep release paperwork

  • Print screenshots of work orders and deliver to drafting for  process sheets

  • Sign and deliver process sheets to Quality Control (QC) for travelers

  • Submit material requisitions to Purchasing after receiving travelers from Quality Control.

  • Prep travelers with material assignment, process sketches, Receive and Inspect (RI) forms and deliver to scheduling for release

  • Initiate shipping paperwork

  • Submit shipping requests to purchasing

  • Review, file and deliver paperwork to QC and Shipping

  • Deliver manufacturing paperwork according to schedule

  • Print electronic process sketches/work instructions and deliver to manufacturing department.

  • Scan and file process sketches/work instructions electronically

  • Maintain electronic files and revisions

  • Review and maintain accuracy of closed operations on work orders

  • Scan required documents into electronic recordkeeping system

    • Completed RI sheets

    • Completed travelers

  • Input labor tickets into our ERP software.

  • Other duties as requested by supervisor


Required Skills/Experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in an office environment highly preferred.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) experience preferred.

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience preferred
