Hunting opens flagship facility in Dubai, UAE

Delivering expanded manufacturing capabilities to rapidly growing Middle East market

Hunting PLC (LSE:HTG), the precision engineering group, is pleased to announce that it has today opened a new 45,000 sqft purpose-built facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates . This marks a significant step in delivering the Group’s Hunting 2030 strategy by strengthening the Group’s regional footprint in a high-growth market and bringing its leading manufacturing capabilities closer to customers in the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.

Hunting has had an established presence in the UAE since the 1970s, serving the critical and rapidly growing Middle Eastern market. The new facility consolidates Hunting’s regional operations into an integrated manufacturing and sales centre, well-positioned to capitalise on increasing market activity and aligned with its strategic focus on high-growth regions.

The facility significantly expands Hunting’s regional manufacturing base, enabling improved efficiency, reduced lead times, enhanced service delivery and the provision of additional services for existing and new customers across the region.

The site is equipped with advanced CNC machinery, a dedicated welding shop, and a custom-built 30,000 psi pressure test bay - the largest testing facility across the Group – as well as housing the manufacture of Hunting’s Well Intervention and Well Testing equipment. This will support a comprehensive range of product lines across Well Intervention, Well Test and Process, Perforating and Logging Tools, OCTG and Connections, and the recently acquired Organic Oil Recovery business. It also provides capacity for future product lines and regional innovations as Hunting continues to invest in technology and capability growth.

Commenting on the new facility, Jim Johnson, Chief Executive of Hunting, said:

“This new facility reflects our long-term commitment to the Middle East and to ensuring our customers have access to world-class, locally manufactured equipment. The new facility is a key milestone in the execution of our Hunting 2030 strategy, which is centred on positioning ourselves closer to our core customer markets.”

Graham Goodall, Managing Director for EMEA, added:

“The opening of our Dubai facility is a significant moment for Hunting in the region. By investing in state-of-the-art infrastructure and local capability, we’re able to deliver faster, more efficient service and support the evolving needs of our customers. This facility provides a strong platform for growth as we focus on expanding our operations across the UAE and wider Middle East, which continues to be one of the most dynamic markets for our business.”

Hunting will showcase its enhanced capabilities at ADIPEC 2025, taking place 3–6 November in Abu Dhabi, underlining its focus on innovation, sustainability, and the energy transition.
